We Welcome Drs. Romy and Linda Caringal, physicians from the Philippines, who have served in missions outreach since 1988. As the Asia area director for Global Partners since 2007, they oversee Wesleyan ministries in 11 countries (Cambodia, India, Japan, Nepal, Mongolia, Myanmar, Pakistan, South Korea, Sri-Lanka, Thailand and the Yawfa people). They are the parents of 2 adult children.
WPFG 91.3 FM – The Bridge (Cumberland Valley Christian Radio) will hold a ‘Sunday Sing”, April 22, at 6:00 pm, at Carlisle Church of God, 458 N. College Street, Carlisle, corner of “A” and North College Streets. WPFG is celebrating six (6) years of proclaiming the gospel on the air!
The Gettysburg Children’s Choir will present a concert today at 4:00 pm, at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, High and Bedford Streets, Carlisle. The public is cordially invited to attend! Both Kellen & Seneca Mikesell sing in this ensemble.
Awana Club & Youth Group End-of-Year Activity this Wednesday, 6:00 – 8:00 pm, meeting at Midway Bowling Alley. Bring youth to the event, and pick up from the bowling alley promptly at 8:00 pm. Family members are welcome to join us!
Sunday School Food & Fellowship, Sunday, April 29th, 9:30 am on lower floor fellowship area. Everyone is invited to this potluck breakfast & short devotional.
Congregational Meeting Sunday, May 13th, 9:15 AM. We’ll receive reports from Treasurer, Sunday School, Wesleyan Women, Awana Club and Youth Group; and elect officers for the 2018 – 2019 conference year. We invite your prayers and participation!

Thank You for Giving to the project costs for a district short-term missions trip to Haiti, April 26 – May 5. Bill & Faye Knouse will be part of an 11-member team on this trip to refurbish the medical clinic at the Wesleyan hospital on La Gonave Island, off the main land.
Church of the Cross commits to reach spiritually lost people in our zip codes by: (1) intentionally praying for the people in our zip codes, (2) generously giving for outreach and ministry to people in our zip codes, and (3) by becoming a “sending church” by 2020—sending out workers to do God’s work! Help us think & pray about what this will look like in Carlisle!

Women’s Prayer & Bible Study—2nd & 4th Thursday evenings, 7:00 pm—open to any ladies who would enjoy an informal opportunity for conversation and prayer, and time in the Word of God. The group meets Thurs., April 26th.

Prayer Shawl/Lap Robe Ministry’s Next Meeting, May 19th – 10:00 am to Noon, at the home of Alicia Navratil, 1354 Kiner Blvd, Carlisle, PA. Anyone is welcome to participate in this on-going ministry. This group has created & given away almost 300 prayer shawls, touching many lives, near and far.
